Just got back from a friend's wedding, the sweetest thing ever man... Anyway somehow when I say friend, ppl tend to assume my friend is 20 years old and getting married ( with a hint of "must have gotten herself knocked up" in their eyes) I suppose I don't blame them, coz I think I would assume the age too if my friends told me about their friends. But yea, due to me joining societies and jobs and church event, I have friends whose ages ranges from 15-50 something aunties -.- so yea... Anyway my this friend is 25, and she just got married in Taylor's Lakeside Campus , OMG it was one of the most sweetest and memorable wedding that I have ever attended in my life. Not only was it unique since it was a garden wedding, but because it was very touching. Even a cold hearted person like me almost cried.
I mean I have been to church weddings ,2 in fact ( not counting the ones I went to when I was little coz I don't remember anything) and it was just ok, but this one was really touching, I suppose it was because they went through a lot when they were dating. And the vows that they exchanged was from the bottom of their hearts, not the normal til death do us part bla bla bla, but it was the grooms own words, frm the bottom of his heart. And the bride vow started with a song named "最重要的决定" she sang it to her husband and she was swallowing back tears and then after that she said her vow too. I suppose when u r saying something frm ur heart, u tend to cry.
Omg and then there was the tea ceremony which made me watery too was when the bride was pouring tea for her parents, and then she said to her daddy " dad, since young u have given me everything but when it comes to my husband u denied him once. I know we do not talk often but deep down i know u love me and want the best for me just like I love you too" omg shit man...and then she thanked her mom too which was quite touching too, but she made it humorous.
Since I was part of the flash mob, I was able to witness all this, I could see the unity in the people of the church, all her performances were free, all by the college societies and most of them by the church members. U could feel the family in them just by witnessing. It was a true blessing ^^ I wish I could post up the video of us flash mobbing but I think it's gonna be on our group page so don't think it will see the light of day. It sucks I couldn't take much photos, but hopefully I can steal from my friends and post up here :) but just to dangle some meat I have 2 photos here :)
This month is gonna be a super busy month for me, next week got another wedding to attend :/ but this time as a guest hahaha then Easter production rehearsals have started, then lots of dinner outings coming up. Basically I don't stay at home for more than 4 hours excluding sleeping time of course coz it's not counted when u dun see ur family. Today itself I've only been home for 1 hour. Back to back activities man, so pooped out right now. Anyways ciaoz
