you know when you are stuck in a jam, and you've got nothing else to do but to think, and think and think? yea, so i've got a piece of my mind that i would like to share, and hopefully in the future when i look back, i would be able to laugh at myself. But right here, right now, this is my mentality....
#1
Sometimes i dun understand why some people only cherish a person once the person is gone and has moved on in life =/ i suppose they only know what is important once they've lost it. It like when you don't know what to eat, and you are staring at the menu? and then you eenie meenie minee mo on the menu and your finger lands on a dish? suddenly you feel very clear on what you want to eat and choose something other than the dish that your finger was pointing at -.- ok maybe it's a lil different, but still.....
#2
I also fail to understand, why can't a person share his problems to the girl he likes? i mean like, sure you say " oh, i don't want her to worry about me" don't cow shit me la ok? how would you feel if the situation is the other way round? Its as if the whole world knows except you, and it sucks to find out from another person. Come on la, confide in each other, it's through this that builds trust, then only the girl will feel secure with you ma...haih... you think following the shows make you heroic meh?
#3
whats the point of telling her friends how much you love her, describing and writing poems TO HER FRIENDS but not telling her a single thing? what, you expect her to be a private investigator and look through her friend's inbox and IM to find out? Tell her la~
Haih...if couples dun suffer from all this, life would be so much smoother, but NO...all this has to happen, like that life only got "drama" ma .... oh well... so basically that is what a girl thinks, i might not represent ALL girls, but in the end i'm still a girl, so i count as well. You can either take it or leave it, laugh at it or take it seriously =) Just my humble opinion

something for everyone
Have you heard of the saying " Don't judge a book by it's cover"? but no matter how "high" our moral ground is, you still can't help but to judge people, come on, we ARE humans after all.
Well i'm not sure if you do this, but there are times when i'm walking in a mall, and i see this really weird looking couple, like probably one being attractive but the other being the exact opposite, i tend to go " wah, like that oso got people want ar?" ok, i know i'm being mean ( and i know some of you do too, just that you guys don't say it out) but please hear me out, or rather in this case read me out hahahaha sounds wrong...
Anyway, it occurred to me, what you are has made you who you are today. You know sometimes you see a really attractive girl? and her attitude is like a total b*tch? and then you wonder, what does her boyfriend sees in her? is he blind or something? And then you see this really attractive guy going out with a nerdy girl with 0% fashion sense, and you'll be like WTH?! Like i said, what you are has made you who you are today. If you are born unattractive, somehow that has molded you into who you are today, you'll probably be very humble and simple minded who don't expect much out of life. If it were the other way round, you'll probably be stuck-up, arrogant and expect to have more in a partner ( not stereotyping, i do have attractive friends who are really nice ^^)
what i'm trying to say is, it all boils down to personality, who says only the cute and attractive ones gets a life partner? Does that mean all ugly ppl will die alone? NO! Out there, there is definitely someone for everyone, nobody is ugly, everybody is beautiful in some way, it doesn't necessarily need to be your appearance.

O.o
Was blowing my hair this morning and then I suddenly realised I like the way I look when I'm not wearing spectacles and contact lenses. Then it hit me, life is like that, life is beautiful when u know just enough, knowing too much just ruins it. Just that blurry image makes u contented.
Felt like a philosopher this morning man, must be the hair dryer helping me connect my brain cells :)

Living in another world
Don't you think it's nice to be an actress/ actor? You get to try out different professions, you don't have to stick to it, and the best part is, you don't have to study for it! You can be a doctor, you can be a lawyer; just slowly trying out occupations without actually going through the real stress, and even if there is an obstacle in "life", you will know at the end of the day, everything is going to be alright. You get to live a life that people all want to have, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect father figure, everything is perfect. You get to kiss cute guys too! *sigh* It's nice living in a movie :) it's a fairytale everybody wants to live in.
BUT...
It gives you false hope, creates high expectation (especially for the guys)and it has somehow made it's way into our society, transforming people making people believe that "yes, this is the way people should behave, dress up or look" the power of the media.... So magnificently great...

I'm getting baptized !
I'll be getting water baptized tomorrow after 19 years of being a christian. And the funny thing is, I didn't get water baptized earlier was because I was afraid of sharing a testimony and also at that time, I didn't really had much of a testimony to share.Well, it was like this, even though i was born into a christian family, but i have always taken God for granted, going to church was a ritual/routine/an obligation, and back then i was "blind" all that God has blessed me with was taken for granted. It was until i was in form 5 that i started to experience His presence in my life. I suppose it was thanks to Marcus for inspiring me to fast for a week when prayer emphasis week came about. Though we were suppose to fast for a month, but we choose to fast for a week. I fasted lunch heh heh ( lost 2KG in a week man dun play play) it was after that, that made me "see" alot of things.
I remember applying/writing in to Taylor's for a partial scholarship, and then i prayed that i would get that scholarship, however the Lord saw greater things for me and granted me full scholarship after registering in Taylor's. He helped me with my interview, gave me confidence, sometimes when i think back, i would wonder, why did Taylor's choose me? there were so many potential applicants, why me? for me the interview was like trying my luck, even if i dun get it, i would at least gain some experience that kind of thing. (but i still prayed hard for it though)But then surprisingly i got it, so i really thank God for it =) The angels must have brain washed the judges, whispering in their ears all the time hahaha coz one of the judges was my lecturer, and i was bared from entering his class coz i was late >.< how could he still have a good impression on me? anyways, i still have alot of testimonies to testify but i think i will bore you. However i'm sure of one thing, the starting point was the fasting, and then i started to join heart shapers, in which i though i would be going to shape the kids hearts to be little warriors for the Lord, but instead of me shaping their hearts, they have in turn shaped my heart. I've realised that my faith in him has grown, and I see Him working in my life more often. And now, i'm taking this step to follow Jesus in his footsteps and to be a real christian. Though i won't be the BEST christian, as i still don't do alot of religious stuff normal christians do, but i know that changes are going to occur after this first step, and i'm gonna be ready to embrace it =) Amen!!

bling bling
I've learnt something very valuable just by making a decision of eating out with a bunch of new found friends. I've realized that it is good to step out of your comfort zone, to try new things and to reach new horizons. My mum told me once " wah you ar always mixing with the wrong group, either you are always eating out with the aunties ( not really aunties la, just that they are a few 10 years more senior than me thats all) or you are mixing around with the kids (referring to the church kids which i'm volunteering to keep an eye on), why aren't you mixing around with people with your own age? why not you change ministry and join the choir or something so you can meet people your age?" So yesterday, i finally went out with "people my age" to eat lunch. Doesn't sound like a feat? it is to me, coz i don't know many people in my church apart from my batch of CW friends whom i lost touch with since i always sit with my mom during sermons and probably just a few aunties who would accommodate in the children's ministry. So yea, when my friend asked me out, i was a tad skeptical about going, but then i decided it is time i get out of my comfort zone. And i was glad i did. We chatted over lunch and i learnt something from this guy, he definitely has live his daily life to the fullest. He didn't let money get into his way when it comes to experiencing new things, in his case its sports, and its extreme sports type. Sometimes i wonder, what is pulling me back? you only live life once, but then again, i'm not living in a world that revolves around me, there are people's feelings that i need to consider, easier said than done *sigh* but then he said something which i thought was true, he said " opportunities are out there, it is whether you want to grab them or not, if you search for it, you will surly find it" FULAMAK! so true man, ever since then, i start to look at things differently. Everything becomes an opportunity and not an obstacle, and i realized i was more willing to go head on with things instead of thinking of all the negative things it would bring before even trying, and sometimes these negative thoughts of mine would lead me to not go at all and missing out on great events. Overall through that lunch, i've met 2 more new friends, i suppose it was me all along not wanting to open up to people, they were actually quite friendly hahaha new stepping stone!
And yes, the heads on decision was actually about today's audition introduced by Jian Yong. And i'm glad i made that decision, i met a few more new people today =))) who knows what more new horizons are awaiting me? Oh, and yes, in every group, there's bound to be a glue that bonds other friends together. In high school it was Houyi, in college it was Wenyi and in church it is Joshua =) and he will NEVER see this lol but i'm really grateful to these "glues", they are the reason i got closer to friends and get to know more friends =) so THANK YOU!

Anyway went and visit Joyce at Chatime, she was the first one who posted on facebook that Jack Neo was in Lakeside. That lucky girl took a picture with the hottie too >.< jealous sial.... anyway, was happy to see her, haven't seen her since she transferred school to catholic high =/ so we chatted a while and apparently that smart girl is going to further her studies majoring in medicine.
